Michael & Kerry's wedding, back in early July, was hands down, the most laid back wedding I have had the honour of being a part of! They have been living together in Texas for the last 12 years, and after finally deciding to make it legal, chose Victoria as the perfect location for their destination wedding! And I am so glad that they did, as not only were they the most laid back couple I've worked with, but the most hilarious one at that! Their day was filled with a TON of laughter and tears, a few of which might have been my own. The planning started back in January, when Michael & Kerry approached me looking for help planning their wedding from afar. Through many emails and phone calls, we were able to design a day that represented their relationship, and I couldn't be happier with how it turned out. They spent the morning getting ready at the stunning Dashwood Manor, overlooking Dallas Road, and then it was off to a quiet corner of Beacon Hill Park for their small and intimate ceremony. After the ceremony, everyone walked over to the Novitiate Garden at St. Ann's Academy for a laid back afternoon of champagne toasts & the most delicious cakes I have ever had in my entire life, courtesy of Pure Vanilla Bakery. (seriously....they were to die for!!!) Pete Snell Photography, once again, did an amazing job of capturing the love these two clearly have for each other, as you can see in the photos below! And Erica, of Rook & Rose Floral Design Boutique, brought her magical touch to the florals, using the Saskatchewan Lily & the Texas Rose in the arrangements, honouring both Michael & Kerry's roots. Congratulations again to Michael & Kerry!
...and I just couldn't resist including this last one!
